The most recent updates about the Work&Shop are on our website

www.workandshop.co.tz and via Instagram: workandshop_mwanza. We are steadily continuing with all developments! It turns out it is all taking much more time than we could have foreseen. We have also had a number of setbacks, but God is good .... we have received spontaneous help from various sources, which allowed us to move forward again. We are very grateful! Even though we still have to make the workbenches, some people are already asking if they can use the space to make something. That gives us the drive to ensure that we can officially open as soon as possible!

Family and friends list

Our family is doing well! Jacob is almost finished with his second year of secondary school and will turn 14 next month; he is growing enormously (bigger than me by now!). Willy is now living with us full-time and has changed schools. He now goes to a nice Montessori school together with Nelson. It took some getting used to, but he is much more comfortable now! Nelson still finds school a bit scary, and when you come to pick him up, he is already standing there with his backpack on his back. He is a cheerful little guy who chatters a lot and is now starting to learn some English too. Lau and I together are the rock in everything we do. I couldn't do all this without him, and neither could he without me ;) We carry on with love and trust!
